226 rooms, pool, 2 conference rooms, coffee makers with free coffee daily upon request, Wi-Fi in rooms, free Wi-Fi in lobby and on mezzanine, 2 restaurants, Internet kiosk in lobby, laundry is valet only. Two towers topping out at 18 floors built in the 1970s. Near the park and near the shore, so it’s aptly named. Rooms on the pool side have great views, and rooms that open onto the pool deck are great for people with kids (and they’re slightly larger). Connecting rooms available. New owners had plans for renovations, but none were evident on our visit. We’ll take another look when they are done. Valet-only parking is $20. Across the street from the beach. Rooms (210–298 sq. ft.) are $175–$290, suites (298 sq. ft.) are $310.
