260 rooms, pool, sauna, hi-speed Internet access in rooms, Wi-Fi by pool, coffee maker with free coffee daily. A 31-floor 1979 building where the units are individually owned. Rooms are inexpensively furnished, but adequate and comfortably sized. Some were looking worn on this visit, but renovations were planned at press time. Studios have a kitchenette and a standing room only lanai. Lanais on 1/1s are large, and some of the views (especially from the rooftop pool) are pretty good. Definitely go for a room higher up. They added a $10 “amenity” fee which pays for Internet in rooms, daily coffee, rooms safes, dvd rental and some other items. Parking is $20. It’s 3 short blocks to the beach. Studios (360 sq. ft.) are $219–$325, 1/1s (443 sq. ft.) are $249–$415. If you get a good discount, you’ll be happy here.
