The best selling guide to O'ahu... Oahu Revealed "just came back from 10 days in Oahu...have to tell you while we had several tour books (Frommers, Fodors), your blue book quickly became our bible...relied heavily on the "ono" labeled places...and, almost without fail, everything was just as described...you've done your homework very well...directions to each place were very useful...the layout by location was done well... great book... helped us immensely...well done." |
Ewa Hotel Waikiki (800) 359-8639 or (808) 922-1677 2555 Cartwright Rd.
92 units, free Wi-Fi, free coffee and donut holes in the mornings, bread, lanais on some. There’s an Internet café on site. Parking is $15. A dreary, 7-story (the 8th story is a sun deck), 1960s-era building that has few redeeming qualities that we could find, except that all non-standard rooms have kitchenettes, and it’s one block to the beach. Coffee makers are extra $2 per day and available upon request. Room size varies considerably here. Their motto is “value is our style.” Maybe, but it ain’t cheap enough. Rooms (200338 sq. ft.) are $115$160, 1/1s (500 sq. ft.) are $215, 2/2s (700 sq. ft.) are $310, 3/3s (1,360 sq. ft.) are $480. |
