27 rooms (14 are private, and the rest are dorms with up to 56 beds), hot tub, coin-op laundry, game room. For a hostel, they have a lot of extra services, such as free daily tours and hikes (which include free snorkel trips to Black Rock in West Maui and drives along the Hana Highway), free Wi-Fi and a computer, etc. They also have free coffee and Friday night parties (a couple of times a month) with free beer. Pretty impressive. They have a strict rule—no Maui residents. You have to show them an out-bound airline ticket or a foreign passport. No minimum or maximum stay. Clean, small rooms and shared baths, which were remodelled in late 2009. BYOT (towel). Lots of spirit at this family-run place. The neighborhood is not the greatest. Dorms are $30, private rooms are $70 for singles, $79 for doubles $88 for a triple. Prices exclude tax. Monthly rates available.
